Lower and Upper Hermosa

The Upper and Lower Hermosa areas ….

… are on either side of La Jolla Blvd. La Jolla Blvd. is the north/south route between Pacific Beach, an area south of La Jolla and the La Jolla Village and freeways north and south.

The Upper Hermosa area is a family area, with smaller lots and homes. The area is architecturally eclectic with Spanish style homes next to English Tudors. The same eclectic feeling is found in the Lower Hermosa, west of La Jolla Blvd.

The lots are larger as are the homes. The feeling is the same. The area to the west of the Blvd. is flatter than the area to the east, the Upper Hermosa.

Both are beautiful areas and all children in both areas go to the Birdrock Elementary School.

The Hermosas are closer to La Jolla High School and Muirlands Middle School. The tree lined streets are welcoming to anyone who drives the areas.
